Overview

The VIZOBOX HDC-5016-32-64 is a fifth-generation EDGE-QAM modulator that multiplexes IP input streams into adjacent or non-adjacent DVB-C QAM RF carriers for cable TV head-end distribution. It accepts up to 512 TS-over-UDP/RTP channels via redundant GigE inputs (max. 840 Mbps per port) and delivers 16 to 64 QAM carriers on a single RF output, compliant with DVB-C EN 300 429 Annex A/C and ITU-T J.83 A/B. An internal multiplexer with PID remapping, PSI/SI editing and DVB simulcrypt scrambling, plus parallel IP MPTS output over two GigE ports, make it a complete IP-to-QAM edge solution available in 16-, 32-, 48- and 64-channel variants.
