The VIZOBOX HDC-5004 turns IP transport streams into four adjacent DVB-C QAM carriers, giving cable operators and property networks a compact, reliable path from IPTV sources to the coax network.
Overview
The HDC-5004 is an EDGE-QAM modulator that multiplexes up to 512 SPTS or MPTS IPTV channels from four 100 Mb/s Ethernet inputs into four adjacent DVB-C QAM RF carriers within a 30–1000 MHz range. Full multiplexing functions include automatic or manual PID remapping, PCR restamping, PSI/SI table generation and NIT/LCN insertion. Scrambling to ETR289 and Simulcrypt standards ETSI 101 197 / ETSI 103 197 with up to four CA systems is supported, alongside MPTS IP output and NMS-based remote management in a 19-inch 1U housing.
